2009 /2010 season has now started. We wait for significant rains to get those 'Shrooms' growing

 Saturday Dec 5th. We will be going up North Bank Chetco rd to hopefully the Chetco Inn area. Please meet between 9.15-9.30 am by the Dutch Bros kiosk in the rite Aid parking lot in Harbor. Car pooling is advisable. Dress warm.

When you get more interested in mushrooming, you may also want to get Hand held Radio's &  a G.P.S. system(very useful as getting lost is quite easy) specially if you feel confidant to go by yourself but we recomend never to go out with less than 3 people. That way with the radio's you can keep in constant touch with each other & make sure that at least one of the group is very familiar with the area you are 'hunting' in. Every year mushroom hunters get lost, the lucky ones spend a night in the woods, the unlucky ones are still out there.
